API documentation

The full reference arrives with the API. Until then, the essentials.

Your key

Generate a key on the API keys page. It is shown once, so keep it somewhere safe, and give each app a key of its own: you can delete one without touching the others.

Sending it

Every request carries the key in the Authorization header:

HTTP
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY

An example

A company looked up by its website address:

bash
curl -X GET \
  "https://logoty.pe/v1/companies?domain=acme.example" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

And what comes back:

JSON
{
  "name": "Acme",
  "domain": "acme.example",
  "logo_url": "https://logoty.pe/logo/acme.example",
  "industry": "Software",
  "founded": 2015,
  "location": "Kraków, Poland"
}

The company in the example is made up, and the fields may still change before the API is released.
